Andrew has approximately 20 years experience in investment banking and private equity investment in Australia and the UK, more recently with Lazard.
Andrew has a broad range of corporate finance experience including divestments, mergers, acquisitions, valuations, capital raisings and corporate restructuring. He has advised on transactions in a range of sectors and his clients have included some of Australia's and Europe's largest corporations, private equity firms, hedge funds, private companies and investors.
Andrew has held various board positions as part of his role as a private equity professional. He is currently a Director of Australian Rural Exports and Australian Resident Director for Singaporean property company, City Developments Limited.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce, and a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the University of Queensland, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia, Directors Diploma – Australian Institute of Company Directors and he is a Solicitor of the Supreme Courts of Queensland and New South Wales. He has also completed a number of Harvard Negotiation Institute courses.
Trevor has over 16 years of capital markets experience, most recently as Head of Equity Syndicate at CBA and Head of Capital Markets at Commsec.
Prior to joining CBA, Trevor was a director Equity Capital Markets for UBS in London and Sydney.
Trevor has a deep understanding of the global capital markets and the institutions that drive them. He has advised multi-national conglomerates, Governments, and smaller companies on Initial Public Offerings and other forms of capital raisings.
Trevor has extensive relationships with Australian and offshore Institutional Investors, Family Offices, Broker networks and retail networks. He has executed capital market transactions in most regions of the globe including Australia, London, North America, Asia Pacific, South America, Europe, Russia, and Africa.
Trevor has been a proponent of listing quality Investment Companies with a focus on understanding what the retail market is looking for. He has an excellent knowledge of the retail market and has raised in excess of $1bn over the last 2 years.
Trevor has a strong appreciation of how to value companies and the key determinants of what drives the valuation of business concerns. This expertise is used to assist companies with their Strategic Investor Relations Strategy.
John is a Psychology Graduate from the University of Queensland and debuted for the Wallabies in 1991, captaining them from 1996 until the end of his test career in 2001. He participated in two successful World Cup campaigns captaining the latter in 1999. He also captained the Wallabies to three Bledisloe Cup, two Tri-Nations and their first ever series victory over the British and Irish Lions.
John is on the board of Flight Centre Travel Group, Fuji Xerox – DMS, the Australian Rugby Union, Palladium Group, PacWealth Capital and International Quarterback.
He is a columnist with The Australian newspaper, a lecturer at the University of Notre Dame in Sydney and was a founder of the Mettle Group, a leadership and organization culture consultancy. He has authored two books, Learning from Legends Sport and Learning from Legends Business.
Originally trained as a geologist with a background in the resources and infrastructure space, particularly land access negotiations for major resource and infrastructure projects around Australia. Steve's clients have included Glencore, Hancock Coal, Areva Resources Australia, Woodside, State based entities (eg rail, port and utility providers), BHPB and Rio Tinto. He is principal of resource services company Spinifex Pty Limited.
Steve is an energetic, creative and innovative professional and is an exceptional business developer. He is also an investor with personal investments made in sectors such as IT, information management, services, property, resources and medical services.
Steve has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from James Cook University. Steve also conducted a number of executive courses from Harvard University, Stanford University and The University of Queensland. He is a Beach Head Adviser with NZ Trade & Enterprise. Steve was a delegate in the Australian Governments' Innovation Trade Mission to Israel in 2015 as well as the Trans-Tasman Innovation Trade Mission to Ireland in 2017.
Interests include sport and physical extension. Steve has been a desert survival instructor, has undertaken several long treks and endurance runs and has held board positions or advisory roles in a number of Not for Profits.
Jess joins Catapult from PwC where she was a Manager in Private Clients Advisory. She has extensive experience advising clients on strategy and financial management and developing financial models across a number of industries. Jess has also acted for a number of vendors in both the preparation and execution of divestitures.
Jess has a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting with Merits in both Management Accounting and Applied Finance. She has a Bachelor of Business Management (Major Marketing) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Major Accounting) from The University of Queensland, graduating with Distinction. Jess is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Australia and New Zealand.
